• About Us

Thank you for visiting the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Omicron Theta Omega Chapter's website. Our Chapter was chartered on May 27, 1984, as a result of thirty-two (32) visionary Alpha Kappa Alpha women who set a tradition of excellence that has remained through the years.

As a member of the Confident, Charismatic, and Charmed Central Region of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, we are committed to delivering supreme service in our communities and beyond under the leadership of our International President & CEO, Dr. Glenda Baskin Glover. The theme for the 2018-2022 International Program is "Exemplifying Excellence Through Sustainable Service" and focuses on five program targets and signature program:

Target 1: HBCU for Life: A Call to Action

Target 2: Women's Healthcare and Wellness

Target 3: Building Your Economic Legacy

Target 4: The Arts!

Target 5: Global Impact

The Signature Program is #CAP SM, which is the abbreviation for College Admissions Process. It is designed to assist students in their efforts to enter college by providing a hands-on approach that includes all the steps from researching various colleges to completing the application process.

In addition to the program targets, the "Exemplifying Excellence Through Sustainable Service" administration is pleased to continue Community Impact Days. Chapters will engage in simultaneous activities that will benefit the community and continue our commitment to lifelong service.

If you are a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha searching for a chapter home, please consider visiting Omicron Theta Omega Chapter. Our chapter meetings are held on the third Saturday of each month (except July and August).
