    Omicron Theta Omega observed Founders’ Day in fellowship with all St. Louis metropolitan area chapters of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Congratulations to our sisters celebrating golden and silver milestone anniversaries (Margaret Ann Berry, Hazel Mallory, Inez Hughes, Kathy Williams and Rita Mosley), our Soror of the Year (Nikki Goodwin) and Reactivated Soror of the Year (Shawnte Hitchens)!

    The Metropolitan St. Louis chapters of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc along with St. Louis County Executive, Dr. Sam Page and Councilwoman Shalonda Webb  joined together to volunteer and honor Dr. Martin Luther King's legacy of service and community empowerment. 107 volunteers across 3 sites achieved 214 volunteer hours total, packed 115 CHIPP bags, and donated $700 to Girls Inc. Other service projects included collecting used electronics in partnership with ALIVE Inc for those impacted by domestic abuse, a line dancing fundraiser and a clean up project at St. Ann Catholic Church & School.

    Omicron Theta Omega hosted the 2024 End of the Year Community Impact Awards Reception where we honored our dedicated community partners and chapter leaders. Our community honorees included Community Women Against Hardship, Girls' Inc, St. Louis Crisis Nursery and West Side Missionary Baptist Church. Our Impact Award recipients were Rev. Traci Blackmon, Dr. Nettie Collins-Hart, Dr. Dorothy Fiddmont, Portia Britt, Alyssa Allen-Gibson, Eleanor Higgins, Dr. Twinette Johnson and Reyna Spencer.

    Omicron Theta Omega hosted Selfies With Santa at Harris-Stowe's midnight breakfast before finals. We awarded 5 students with $500 book stipends! Selfies With Santa is an annual event to help boost morale during finals week and encourage students at Harris-Stowe to finish their semester strong.

    Omicron Theta Omega helped serve 856 free meals at the Dellwood Food Truck event in partnership with St. Ann Methodist Church. We Leo uplifting our local community!

    Omicron Theta Omega was recognized by Community Women Against Hardship as the 2024 Circle of Support Award Recipient. We are grateful for our partnership throughout the years and the opportunity to make a positive impact together in the St. Louis community.

    Omicron Theta Omega hosted our annual HBCU college fair at Harris-Stowe State University. Several HBCU recruiters and employers were in attendance as students from all over the metro St. Louis area attended. Omicron Theta Omega also held a voters education and awareness session to answer questions regarding this years' election. Special thanks to Harris-Stowe and the HBCU committee for your continued partnership and dedication to higher education.
